On 19th，November, the Translators Association of Sichuan Province（TAS）is held atLNU，and Zhang Yiming，executive vice-chairman of the association，takes the chair.
At the beginning，new chairman Zhang Mengtai，on behalf of the fifth council，gives a work report，which includes summary on year’s work since its establishment，and advice to the next council. Then，Li Zhimin，vice-chairman of TAS，gives a report on altering regulations. Du Xueyuan，vice-president of LNU，makes a speech at the meeting.
The“One Belt and One Road”academic seminar，hosted by Dai Lisheng，dean of the Foreign Language School of LNU，is inaugurated. First，Kong Lingcui，executive vice-chairman of TAS，introduces the participants and organizing process of the seminar，and reads out the congratulatory letter from Translation Association of China.
Du,on behalf of the host side, show a warm welcome to experts and scholars from in and out of Sichuan province，as well as gives a brief introduction and development of LNU，expressing thanks to TAS and experts for their concerning and support. Later，chairman Zhang，Zhang Qiang，secretary-general of Association of Middle East Oil and director of Overseas Service Center of Global Brand Insight，and Chen Jun，head of Sichuan Science and Technology association，give speeches. Then，Su You，director of Education Department of Sichuan Center For International Peace ＆ Development Studies，makes a speech，showing recent years’basic situation of abroad studying and training of China，and expressing his heartfelt congratulation to the seminar.
At 10:50，the award ceremony of the Third Tian Fu Talents for Translation Awards and the fifth Tian Fu Translation Awards，hosted by Wang Weimin，vice-chairman of TAS，is held. To begin with，Lian Zhenran，vice-chairman of TAS，sketches development of New Perspectives in Translation Studies and the rules of winners decisions，and reads out list of winners. Later，he announces the list of awards presenters and issues certificates to winners. Last，professor Shao Lu，one winner of the Third Tian Fu Talents for Translation Awards，delivers her acceptance speech. At 11:35，awarding ceremony for“Research Center of TAS for Tourism Culture Translation”is held. Dean Dai and Tang Hongjuan，vice-dean of the Foreign Language School，accept the award on behalf of the Foreign Language School，hoping to provide think tanks service for research on tourism culture translation of Sichuan，promoting regional economic increase. At two in the afternoon，，symposia for“One Belt and One Road”translation seminar of TAS is held at the Foreign Language School of LNU. In the symposia，three professors—Wang Dongfeng，Linwei and Xu Bin give special topic lectures，chaired by vice-dean Tang,
First，professor Wang，dean of the Foreign Language School of Zhongshan University and doctoral supervisor，gives a lecture，whose theme is“translation of poetry and poetic meanings”. “Poetry is not equal to poetic meanings，but combination of poetic meanings and forms，”he emphasizes. Wang，whose lecture style is fresh and meaningful，impressing audience deeply，has his own unique understandings of creating poetry，poetic connotation and origins. After that，professor Lin，Australian expert from Jinan University，gives a lecture in terms of“revolution”，combing the evolution of the word’s meaning in China from microcosmic point of view. With a humorous and intriguing tone and style，Lin transfer the lecture atmosphere greatly. Last，professor Xu，from Shandong Normal University，gives a lecture，“the applications of CAT translation in social science books”for the theme，where he，taking himself for instance，shares tips on how to improve efficiency of translation and guarantee quality by using CAT（Computer Aided Translation）with audience.
The opening of the conference helps to set a stage and provide development ideas for construction of the translation major of LNU. The seminar not only introduces the university and its translation major，but also offers teachers and students of the major opportunities to have a communication with experts face-to-face，in addition widening their horizons，pointing out ways to their future study and research.
