Foreign Students Win In Mountain Climbing

On October 16, nearly one hundred international friends from Laos, United States, Italy, Japan and Belgiumthe took part in the Mt. Emei International Mountain Climbing Festival. International students from LNU swept the top tens due to their excellent performance.

This course, 7.5 km long, covered from the archway of Qingyinge , Wuxiangang, Mt. Emei to the Wannian Parking Lot. The event, taking the mountaineering as the tie, aims to promote international friendly communication and cooperation, enhance people`s awareness of body building, encourage tourists from home and abroad to appreciate the characteristics and connotations of Mt. Emei by hiking as well as to experience the satisfaction of “one more step at a time, and wider vision would come into view, and a higher state of consciousness would be achieved”.
