School Undertook Seminar for the Security Work on Campus

On Oct.10th, ‘Five Southwest Provinces’ Seminar for the Security Work in Universities” was held in Leshan，aiming to reinforce the theoretical discussion and experiential communication about the security work in the southwest area.
Yang Shengkuan, Secretary of the CPC Leshan Normal University(LNU) Committee, extended a warm welcome to participants, with a brief introduction to LNU’s history, current situation and future planning. “security work played a significant role in universities’ work, and the security construction on campus was a vital guarantee to universities’ reform as well as development. Universities should promote the adaption of security work in colleges’ new situation, new tasks and new requirements; perfectly maintain universities’ education, research and life order; further improve the equality and level of security work in universities,” he said.
Xu Xiongwei, Deputy Secretary-General of China Academy of Higher Education of Security (CAHES), delivered his speech and he mentioned that universities should research problems, create working manner and improve the level of development in academy’s work.
Finally, Representatives, from ten universities in five southwest provinces, had a meeting on the basis of the theory and practice in college security work.
“Five Southwest Provinces’ Seminar for the Security Work in Universities” was of great significance. All colleges in southwest area had not only full communications on new condition & development in security work of theory, but also shared their experience of work and thoughts. And they had innovation measures according to the thinking of studying and researching of work in the new situation. Moreover, the seminar provided a platform for the mutual communication of college security work in the southwest area and everybody could discuss and plan the work, which enhanced the friendship & emotion among colleges and provinces in the southwest area.
