Implement the Party’s Education Policy

Interpret the School’s 13th Five-Year Plan

  On October 19th, Hu Dan,President of Leshan Normal University(LNU) ,held a Party lecture in Hongyi Building.

  Hu interpreted the Party’s education policy and pointed out that the college should focus on students’ all-round development of moral, intellectual and physical qualities and serve for local politics and economy, thus satisfying to people. “Improving the quality of talents training is the eternal pursuit, and the road to reform is endless,” Hu said.

 Hu explained the "13th Five-Year" plan of the college, and analyzed the present situation of higher education in China. He indicated that building the college into a provincial first-class university is the goal of the new Party committee of Leshan Normal University. Because the existing advantages are very weak, the college will strive unremittingly towards the goal.

 He also put forward three hopes: 1, Grasp the overall situation and dive into the school’s reform torrent. 2, Enhance learning, firmly implement the Party’s education policy and pay attention to the current state affairs as well as the development of Sichuan. 3, Work in practice, seek for excellence, keep passion and improve efficiency in work. Meanwhile, Hu recommended Chairman Mao’s On Contradiction and Dialectics to students, hoping them to be diligent at learning and to become the college’s backbones soon.
