Sept 30 is the third national legal Martyr Memorial Day. Members of the Standing Committee of the CPC and some cadres and students of our school watch the TV live at Hongyi Building.

In front of the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the party and state leaders with people from all walks of life stand in silent and pay tribute to the memory of the martyrs. Seeing this, everyone is deeply shocked and educated. Cao Xu, a young teacher, says that “My heart is shocked and christened again after seeing the live. As a college teacher, I ought to guide my students to memory our heroes’ great achievements as well as understand the magnificent of implementing this activity, and inherit heroes’ patriotism.” She Wanbin, head of the Publicity Department of the CPC LSNU Committee, maintains that our party and state show great respect and veneration to martyrs. It is more important for us to learn martyrs’ fortitude, and their dedication of achieving the goals, as well as their loyalty to the party and people on the road to achieve Two Centenary Goals and Chinese Dream.

It also plays a part in cultivating the next generation of socialism successors, and in ensuring the development of socialism’s goals,” he said.

It is said that according to the arrangement of the Publicity Department of the CPC LNU Committee  from Sept 30 to Oct 21, party branches will continue to invite teachers and students to watch three TV live programs about commemorating the Eightieth Anniversary of the Long March.
