art exhibition of 40th anniversary, also donation ceremony, is held
On May 6th, art exhibition of 40th anniversary of Leshan Normal University (LNU), also donation ceremony, is held in Sichuan Art Museum. More than 200 works are displayed at the exhibition and 66 works are donated to LNU. Over 400 people attend opening ceremony which is chaired by Chen Lizhi, Vice Secretary of CPC LNU Committee.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Yang Shengkuan, Secretary of CPC LNU Committee , expresses his welcome and thanks to leaders, guests, artists and relevant people present at the ceremony despite of their busy schedule. Then, 54 artists, teachers or alumnus contribute their works. This is the largest gifts ever received since the founding of school in 1978, and it turns a new page for LNU’s art and culture collection.
This exhibition is one of the important activities during the 40th anniversary, and also is a show and summary of the teachers’ and students’ achievements in School of Fine Arts.
