40th anniversary celebration of LNU  held

On the evening of April 20th, the 40th anniversary celebration of Leshan Normal University (LNU) started with the song of "happy birthday to you". Tan Guangming, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee of Wuhan University(WU),  Guo Jie, Deputy Mayor of Leshan Government, leaders from other schools, alumni representatives, business partners, and all the leaders with teachers and students on campus, more than 10000 people gathered together to enjoy the grand celebration.

The celebration was hold both to the 40th anniversary of LNU and the 80th anniversary of WH’s movement to west from 1938 to 1946 during Anti-Jananese War . At the beginning, 15 departments respective gave brilliant opening show with distinctive characteristics. Then, different forms of performance stepped on the stage, including dance mix, singing, drama, poetry reading and so on, which won thunderous applause of the audience. 

At the end, President Hu Dan, Tan Guangming, and all leaders in LNU, recited the poem named enter into a new era and start a sail again, which told the development in the four decades and the achievement in the eight decades.
