LNU held press conference of 40^th anniversary

On April 12^th, Leshan Normal University (LNU) held press conference of the 40^th anniversary, and it was also the first release of cultural achievements for the 40^th anniversary. Chen Lizhi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, She Wanbin, Minister of the LNU’s Propaganda Department of Party Committee, Xu Tao, General Assistant Director of the 40^th anniversary, and Xiang Yong, Deputy Minister of the Local Cooperation Department, attended this conference, which was hosted by Liang Chen, Director of News Center in the school's Propaganda Department.

At the beginning, She Wanbin briefly introduced the activity arrangement during the celebration month. He said, there would be totally 48 activities, including academy, culture, education and development four aspects. Then, Xu disclosed the theme, structure and highlight of the celebration evening party. After that, She mentioned three cultural works especially made for the anniversary: anniversary album, which includes more than 400 school’s pictures from 1978 to 2018, cultural propaganda video and a new book that mainly records the teachers and students’ hard working in the past 40 years and alumnus’ happy memories to LNU. At last, Xiang Yong showed the anniversary’s souvenirs.

Finally, the first launching ceremony of the new books was held. Wang Jun, Director of the Sichuan University Press, who was mainly responsible for this book’s publishing work, stated some details about the book.
