Students win Gold Medal in Exhibition

Recently, Dong Juncai and Tang Hongmei, the students in the School of Computer and Science of Leshan Normal University( LNU) won Gold Medal in the second International Art and Design Exhibition, which was sponsored by University of Barcelona, Office of NACG Digital Art Talent Cultivation and Shanghai Art and Design Academy, and specially supported by United Nations Institute for Training and Research(UNTTAR) in Shanghai branch. It was the first time for the students in the School of Computer and Science to participate in national exhibition and win prize and it was also one of the excellent results for the School of Computer and Science insisting cultivating application-oriented talents and improving students' professional skills for a long time.

The exhibition contained six aspects: Visual Communication, Digital Image Design, Interactive Media Design, Environmental Space Design, Style Design and New Media Design. Teachers’ and students’ works were from both Chinese and foreign colleges in Spanish, Finnish, American, Canadian etc. In the exhibition, there were totally 278 works. 152 of them were from Chinese colleges and 126 of them were from foreign colleges. After the assessment of judges, 20 works were awarded a prize respectively in teachers group and students group.
